Dante converses with Farinata degli Uberti and Cavalcante de Cavalcanti (father of the poet Guido Cavalcanti), two Epicurian Florentines in one of the tombs.. Private collection.. In 1921, for Dante Aligheri's 600th anniversary of death, the Istituto Nazionale Dantesco chose Amos Nattini to illustrate The Divine Comedy. The illustrations have been published in 1923.
