Bisacodyl tablets

Bisacodyl delayed-release tablets USP are used in cleansing of the colon as a preparation for colonoscopy in adults (in combination with the PEG/electrolyte powder as part of the Bi-PegLyte Bowel Prep Kit). Three bisacodyl tablets (5 mg each) should be taken with water. No antacids should be taken within one hour of taking the bisacodyl tablets.
