Laycock Vacacar vacuum cleaner in use at an Esso garage, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, 1965. In addition to their wide range of vehicle lifts and testing equipment from their base in Sheffield, Laycock engineering produced this Vacacar Vacuum cleaner for the commercial valeting of car interiors. The photograph shows the cleaner in use being used on an Austin Westminster of 1962 vintage by an employee of an Esso Garage in Sheffield. April 1965.
