Ornitholestes hermanni dinosaur

Ornitholestes hermanni, a small carnivorous theropod biped, was approximately 8 feet in length and lived in North America in the late Jurassic Period. It had elongated forelimbs and hands to reach and grasp prey, and short shins adapted for running. It possibly was an example of a warm blooded (endothermic) species, exhibiting a high level of activity and metabolic rate characteristic of present day birds.
