The Violent against Nature (the Sodomites). Encounter with three Florentines: Dante meets Guido Guerra, Tegghiaio Aldobrandi and Iacopo Rusticucci, who asks for news of the city of Florence.. Private collection. In 1921, for Dante Aligheri's 600th anniversary of death, the Istituto Nazionale Dantesco chose Amos Nattini to illustrate The Divine Comedy. The illustrations have been published in 1923.
