General Domingo Dulce. Born in 1808, served as Captain General of Cuba (1862-1866) having been one of the best rulers of the country. Opposed the trafficking, and supporter of the reforms. He returned to the island at the beginning of the revolution of Yara, but was removed and embarked for Spain in 1869.
