A Revolutionary festival celebrated by the Jacobins Club. The Society of the Friends of the Constitution, later known as the Jacobin Club, is the most famous club of the French Revolution. The Jacobin Club was a society of thought which constituted, during the French Revolution, both a pressure group and a network of remarkable efficiency. The action of the club, essential from the beginning of 1790, became dominant between 1792 and 1794.
