Rooms in which royalty, statesman and diplomats are entertained have been turned by lady Londonderry into a recruiting depot for woman transport drivers. Lady Londonderry is in charge of the recruiting programme. It is being carried out by the woman's legion, started during the great war and retained ever since on a reserve basis. September 29, 1938.
