Empire Builder's Memorial -- The room RHodes used as a youth showing the desk at which he studied. Cecil Rhodes birthplace in South Street. Bishop' stortford, Herts, will shortly be opened as a permanent memorial to the man who was one of our greatest Empire builders. With the aid of a former servant the house has been refurnished in the way it was when occupied by the Rhodes Family.
