The Entombment, Nicodemus and Jozef van Arimathea stand opposite each other on a rocky, elongated plot, carrying the rigid body of Christ between them on a limp cloth. In the foreground Mary-Magdalene kneels, profile a little to the left and a little forward, holding the linen cloth with her left hand, while with the right she lifts the lid of the ointment canister, which stands on the floor in front of her. Behind Christ, Mary kneels over him with folded hands and looks down at her son's turned face. She is supported by the poor by St. Jan, who is behind her. To their left two women, one with hands folded with devotion, the other with a pot of spices, both look somewhat absent. To the right of St. Jan is Simon van Cyrene (?), Who also holds the linen cloth with his right hand and holds the left one above the belt with the purse hanging on it. Diagonally behind him is a woman who is holding her right hand in front of her chest while she lifts her skirt slightly with the other. On the bottom are a book and, fallen over, a second ointment canister with the lid next to it. Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea are almost similar in gesture and clothing, each wearing a richly decorated Jewish hat with stored front flap and a sash hanging backwards, furthermore, one or two dalmatian-style costumes over a long-sleeved robe, the left figure still has a shoulder cloak and clip bag on a belt. His arms protrude through the side slits of the long sleeves of the upper rug, which are laid in a loose loop on the back, the sleeves on the right-hand side are folded. Magdalena's cloak, over which her wavy hair lies, slides from the back and partially covers her footwear. Mary wears the cloak over her head and a veil that falls before her ., St. John's open cloak, closed with a knot in front of the chest, releases part of his tunic. The woman on his left is wearing a turban over her headscarf and holding a wad of her cloak with her right forearm, the figure to the left of her has a cloak.
