Niccolite from Cobalt, Ontario

Niccolite is nickel arsenide and an important ore of nickel. The mineral is opaque and metallic with a delicate peach-bronze color, and occurs in massive veins in orebodies, such as the one at Cobalt, Ontario, Canada. Cut stones are lovely but hardly ever seen.
