France, Dargilan Cave, stalagmites

The cave was first discovered in 1880 by a young shepherd who followed a fox in through a crack. It is the largest cave of Causses and the Cavennes. It features extraordinary speleothems. It is also called La Grotte Rose (The Pink Cave) as many of the speleothems show pink colors.
