The stick is made up of two baluster shapes, connected by a flat node, including batter. The stick ends with a six-lobed button. The end consists of double nodes, between which profiled edges. The crowning glory is a winch. A leaf vine winds around the lower baluster. Around the top a silver band spiraling around the stick, on which is engraved: THE LEIDSCHE CHOIR AND ORCHESTRA THEIR DIRECTOR A.J. WETRENS DECEMBER 11, 1860. Marked on both baluster shapes. The baton is in a wooden box, which is lined on the inside with red velvet, 1900.
