Excavated Tomb of terracotta warriors, Xi'an, China. A full army of terracotta warriors were created to guard the tomb of Quin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, who died in 210 BC. It was discovered by farmers digging a well in 1974. This is a view of pit #1. It is now a World Heritage site.
