Alcove seen in elevation frontally, with bed à la duchesse (no footboard and canopy supported from the ceiling) enclosed by a balustrade which supports two fluted and gilded composite columns. The state bed shows the cypher of the Regent, Philippe Charles, Duc d'Orleans. The height is indicated at the right. Pen and black ink, brush and watercolor on white laid paper. Date: ca. 1716.
