Flint gun, Part of a couple. The gold-plated, copper-plated lock plate is engraved with a signature, the rooster is made of iron, the steel spring blued. The barrel has a round cross section and a series of octagonal rings on the back, a ridge runs between the breech and the iron visor grain, marked on the back with the arms of Utrecht and on the bottom with a crowned coat of arms. The flask has been cut with, among other things, accolade. The gilt brass fittings consist of, a screw plate with ajour worked leaves, one of which ends in a dragon, and a female figure with a short axis on a carriage pulled by a myth figure, an unadorned thumb plate framed by horseshoe and a flask with facets and a mask on the octagonal flask cover plate, the loading stick has a brass cap., Gerrit Lasonder (II), Utrecht, 1710 - 1720, brass (alloy), gilding (material), wood (plant material), iron (metal), cutting, l 51.2 cm l 33.4 cm d 16.2 mm l 33.7 cm.
