Ken Still (USA) sinks putt at the 14th green here yesterday , during the morning Singles Ryder Cup Match against Maurice Bembridge (GB) . Bembridge won the match by one hole . The match was all square at the end of the 18 holes . The contest ended 13 all with 6 halves . The Americans retained the Cup as they were the previous holders , Southport , Lancashire , England . 21 September 1969.
