Slip from a jabot of needle lace, Slip of a jabot of natural colored needle lace: flat Venetian lace. On either side of a middle motif of flower vases, curls and flowers is a symmetrical drawing of vases with flowers in a diamond shape of C-curls surrounded by irregular flower sprays. The motifs are made with festoon stitches, with cut-outs of simple patterns in different flowers and leaves. The motifs are connected to each other by a hexagonal, coated barbed ground. The briefs are finished on three sides with a straight edge with painted bows.
