Caption: The theory of continental drift is the presence of glacial deposits in the southern regions of some continents. Traces of glaciation can be found in South America, Australia, and even Africa and India, zones that are now decidedly tropical. These glacial deposits, which indicate that ice flowed toward the interior of continents, were probably left by the Antarctic icecap.
