Dry Gangrene of the Arm, Illustration, 1893

Watercolor drawing of the right hand and forearm of a woman, aged 32 years, in a condition of dry gangrene. The skin of the whole hand, and that over the lower half of the forearm, is of a uniform black. There is a well-defined line of demarcation where the edges of the healthy skin are red and ulcerated. There is also a patch of superficial ulceration on the upper part of the forearm. Leonard Mark, 1893.
