A year ago, Hollywood character actor Christian Rub, 62, got fired of making films, and set off with his wife, for Tahiti.Unfortunately, the wrong kind of mosquito bit Mr. Rub in Tahiti and he had to leave for fear of contracting elephantiasis.In Sydney this week we interviewed him, found he strongly resembled Pinocchio's father Gepetto in the Disney film of that name.It was Gepetto's voice that spoke to us."In Hollywood there is a lot of diplomacy, soft speaking and bowing to this one and that one, and finally my wife and I we got very tired of it.
