Sir William Stanley, 19th century. Portrait of Stanley who was Lord Chamberlain of the household of King Henry VII. At the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485 he changed sides, securing Henry VII's victory. But in 1495, Stanley was convicted of treason and executed for his alleged support of Perkin Warbeck.
