'Albert Victor, 1875 - Signature', (c1897). Prince Albert Victor was the son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, (later King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra). After falling ill with influenza during the pandemic of 1889-1892, he developed pneumonia and died at Sandringham House in Norfolk on 14 January 1892, a few days after his 28th birthday.
