The Tetraconch (Megali Panagia), Athens, Greece. The remains of what is believed to be the oldest Christian church in Athens are siruated in the garden of Hadrian's Library. The Tetraconch was constructed in the 5th century and destroyed at around the end of the sixth century. Later in the seventh century, a three-nave basilica was constructed on the site and in the 12th century a single nave basilica called Megali Panagia was built; this was damaged by fire and subsequently demolished in 1885.
