With her left she embraces a stylo. In the left section there is a wreath with the ligature M(I)R at the bottom. Nike is framed by the inscription 'Alexandrou Basileos' running from top to bottom. The coin was probably minted in the mint of Babylon. Alexander the Great had conquered the city in 331 BC. This is a term post quem (after) the minting of the coin could take place at the earliest. But his successors also had this coin type minted until the end of the 4th century BC.
