(The Rotunda of the Valois, commonly known as Notre-Dame-de-la-Rotonde, a building which adjoined the basilica of Saint-Denis from the end of the 16th century to the beginning of the 18th century and which housed the tomb of Henri II and his wife Catherine de Medici. This building was to receive the remains of the King's successors in the house of Valois, the reigning dynasty at the time of its construction, which began in 1568.
