Cadmium carbonate precipitate

Cadmium carbonate precipitate. Cadmium carbonate (CdCO3) precipitate formed by adding 0.25 M solution of sodium carbonate (Na2CO3) drop by drop to 0.25 M solution of cadmium sulphate (CdSO4). The reaction is Na2CO3 + CdSO4 -> CdCO3 + Na2SO4. This is an example of a double replacement reaction.
