On the balustrade on the right you can see the spouses' weapons. An incense burner (Asia) on the carpet. The upper side of the painting is a (now weathered) mirror, historical persons - BB - woman, Hope, 'Spes', 'Speranza divina e certa' (Ripa), one of the Three Theological Virtues, Canton, Andreas Everardus van Braam Houckgeest, Catharina Cornelia Geertruida van Reede van Oudtshoorn, anonymous, Kanton, c. 1790, glass, oil paint (paint), gypsum, painting, h 50.0 cm × w 39.5 cm × d 4.5 cm.
