Joe Pasternak, film producer

Joseph Herman Pasternak (born Jozsef Paszternak; September 19, 1901 - September 13, 1991) was a Hungarian-born American film producer in Hollywood. Pasternak spent the Hollywood "Golden Age" of musicals at MGM Studios, producing many successful musicals. He produced Judy Garland's final MGM film, Summer Stock, and some of Gene Kelly's early breakthrough roles.
