Haemophilus ducreyi

Haemophilus ducreyi, or Ducrey's bacillus, is transmitted by sexual contact (STD), it is an extremely contagious bacterium that does not provide immunity. It causes chancroid (or chancre or Ducrey's chancre), characterized by an ulcerated chancre associated with lymphadenopathy. Visualization by Optical Microscopy.
