Jackie Stewart on the left, and Jim Clark, 1967. Chatting at the side of the track, at the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Stewart's career lasted until 1973. He won a then record 27 Grands Prix, as well as three World Drivers' Championships, in 1969, 1971 and 1973. Clark won the Formula 1 World Championship twice, in 1963 and 1965. He drove exclusively for Lotus until his death in a Formula 2 race in Hockenheim, Germany in 1968.
