"Treaty of Madrid" (1721). Particular treaty of peace and friendship between the Crown of Spain and the Crown of England, concluded in Madrid on 13 June 1721. By means of this agreement, reached at the end of the War of the Quadruple Alliance (1717-1720), Great Britain joined the defensive alliance that Spain and France had signed a few months before (27 March 1721).
