The Australian Trade representatives in San Francisco were responsible for the excellent Australian display which, while not very elaborate due to the shortage of dollars, attracted many people interested in the land "down under." However, among the more prominent visitors to the display was Sir Frank Beaurepaire - the famous Australian athlete ana swimmer, who is passing through America on his way to the Olympic Games in London.
