Her right hand rests on the lap and the left arm on the seat back. She wears gold bracelets on both wrists. The woman has smooth hair cut back and she wears hanging earrings. On the right is a red draped curtain and on the left is a wooden table with a large green vase. The background is grayish. Signed bottom right. Pastel is in a gilded wooden frame and is behind glass, 1950.
