SHOULDER, X-RAY

Colorized x-ray of a normal shoulder.. The shoulder joint is the articulation connecting the arm to the thorax. The head of the humerus is articulated with the scapula posteriorly and the clavicle anteriorly. Three zones can be described: the deltoid region (the shoulder cuff), the axillary region (armpit), and the scapular region.
