The iron fittings are embossed with figures, apart from the four partially faceted loading rod sleeves, and consist of the trigger guard, an open-worked screw plate in the form of, a Classic warrior, military trophies and horsework, an open-work, award-winning thumb plate with a small, unprocessed central shield flanked by naked bearers with leaves, and a butt plate with a Classic warrior and accolade, the loading stick has a cow horn cap., Wernand Droogbrood, Utrecht, 1710 - 1715, iron (metal), horn (animal material), grinding, l 154.6 cm l 115.1 cm d 17.2 mm.
