CIRO (VII - VI century BC), Persian king of the Achaemenid dynasty. "Cirus Rex Persarum", bas-relief decoration from the band depicting celebrated antiquities and mythological themes, inspired by Roman medals, carved on the base of the facade of the Basilica of the Certosa di Pavia, a typical example of Lombard Renaissance architecture of the fifteenth century.
