JOHN LAING PLC. Abbey Life Building, Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, 22/07/1992. A view of the Abbey Life building from the east. The headquarters of Abbey Life were constructed of reinforced concrete and the design resembled a seaside pavilion, with blue-green reflective glass, balconies and railings. The topping out ceremony was held on 22nd June 1990 and the building was officially opened a year later on 7th June 1991.
