Copper sulphide precipitate

Copper sulphide precipitate. Copper sulphide (CuS) precipitate (dark indigo) formed by adding 0.25 M solution of copper sulphate (CuSO4) drop by drop to 0.25 M solution of sodium sulphide (Na2S). The reaction is Na2S + CuSO4 -> CuS + Na2SO4. This is an example of a double replacement reaction.
