Keeping your elbows locked and arms straight, compress the victim's chest approximately 2 inches (5 cm), then reduce the pressure, at the rate of 15 compressions every 10 seconds. You can, to help you, count each compression out loud, as follows: 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 10 and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 15. After 30 compressions, give 2 rescue breaths, all of which is equivalent to one CPR cycle.
