Orig. bildtext... HER LAUGH CAUSES EJECTION FROM NAZI BUND RALLY New York City. Dorothy Thompson, noted columnist and wife of Sinclair Lewis, laughs a big laugh as she sits in the press section at Madison Square Garden, Feb. 20th, during the rally of the Nazi German-American Bund. Her laugh was the signal for her ejection by Storm Troopers who were given the right to gather because there is free speech here. They didn't belive that MIss Thompson had freedom to laugh and the ejection followed. Anm.
