John Wycliff or Wycliffe (ca. 1330-1384). English theologian. He was condemned for attacking the Pope in the Great Western Schism (1378). After his death, his doctrines were condemned in 1415 at the Council of Constance (1414-1418). In 1428 his remains were exhumed and his corpse was burned.
