The prince, in dark glasses and wearing a light green tweed suit with cap to match, sat in a ringside seat with an unidentified friend. The bullfights, reputedly for charity, cashed in on the presence of units of the British fleet which were in Gibraltar - the audience was predominantly British, Prince Philip, commander of the frigate HMS magpie, took some cine-photos of the second bullfight.
