Caption: Two women ( standing: Marlyn Wescoff crouching: Ruth Lichterman) wire the right side of the ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer) with a new program, in the "pre-von Neumann" days. John von Neumann was a mathematician working on the hydrogen bomb at Los Alamos who joined the ENIAC program in its second year.
