Eleonore Denuelle de La Plaigne, 1787-1867. Eléonore Denuelle was a mistress of Emperor Napoleon I of France and the mother of his son Charles, Count Léon. She later married the Count de Luxbourg and became Comtesse de Luxbourg. Colour mezzotint by Michel Manzi and Maurice Joyant after a portrait by Jacques Augustin from Frederic Massons Napoleon et les Femmes, Napoleon and the Fair Sex, Goupil, Paris, 1906.
