Astronaut Ellison Onizuka

Ellison Onizuka (June 24, 1946 - January 28, 1986) was the first Asian American to fly in space, on board the Space Shuttle Discovery in 1985.  He was aboard the Space Shuttle Challenger on January 28, 1986, when it exploded 73 seconds after launch, taking with it all seven crew members.
