Robert Booth, 21-year-old ex-soldier of Streatham, London, and Peter Newman, 22-year-old ex Royal Navy man of Chigwell, Essex, left Victoria station, London, today at the start of a round the world hitch hike in the capital for £30. Setting out from France and passing through Italy, Greece and Turkey on the first part of the journey, the men will work their way by doing odd jobs such as dishwashing.
