Yaroslav Dombrowski (1836-1871) - Polish revolutionary, emigrant. In 1871 he joined the National Guard. He demanded an immediate offensive on Versailles. The Council of the Commune was appointed general - the commander of the fortified area, then - the first army. In May he became the de facto commander-in-chief of the troops of the Commune. In battles with the Versailles, he was mortally wounded.
