Philippa of Lancaster (c. March 1360 - 19 July 1415 Odivelas) was an English princess of the House of Lancaster, daughter of John of Ghent, 1st Duke of Lancaster, with his wife Branca de Lancastre. When she was 18, she was awarded the English distinction of the Order of the Garter, which, years later, would contribute to her image as a holy queen. She became queen consort of Portugal through her marriage to King Joao I.
