'Breakfast scene from 'The Five Days Peregrination'', 1732. This series is an account of a tour of the Kent Coast made by William Hogarth and four friends in May 1732. The four were Samuel Scott (marine painter), John Thornhill (Hogarth's brother in law), Ebenezer Forrest (lawyer) and William Tothall (woollen draper). From William Hogarth, by Austin Dobson.
